The Kids Shouldn’t Have Cancer Foundation in Memory of Jonny Wade was founded shortly after Jonny’s death. Despite the circumstances, Jonny believed he could – and should – make a difference. We honor his selfless wish that no other kid should have cancer with our mission.
Our Mission
To conquer pediatric cancer through research and political action, with an emphasis on responsible spending.
Our Initiatives
- Funding pediatric cancer research for treatments and cures
- Improving access to and awareness of clinical trials for families facing pediatric cancer
- Raising public awareness of the issues surrounding pediatric cancer funding
- Influencing the organizations that allocate federal cancer research funding
Our Team
We were founded by Kimberly and Jon Wade, Jonny’s parents. They work closely with board members who are also passionate about the cause.
