Come out and play on New Year’s Day! Day 1 Dallas is a free event at Fair Park’s Centennial Building designed to bring together children and families on New Year’s Day so that you can start the year off right as a family. Hosted by Vogel Alcove, the event features entertainment, food vendors and a variety of children’s activities, culminating in a spectacular firework show.
Activities for the 2018 even include rock wall climbing, magic shows, STEM activities, bounce houses, live music, crafts, games and fireworks. In 2017, more than 12,000 children and families came to Fair Park on January 1, 2017, to celebrate the New Year. At the 2018 event:
