Description: Let’s get 2019 started off with a beautiful 1.5-mile guided hike along our easy Spring Point Trail. We will meet at the amphitheater. As we hike together, we’ll talk about some of the features and history of both Lake Tawakoni, and the park. There will be some fantastic lake views, so bring your camera and binoculars. We may also see deer, eagles, and other wildlife along the way.

Description: Join us as we bring in the New Year outdoors on a guided hike (approx. 1 1/2 miles), along the Lake Mineral Wells State Trailway. We will explore the creature sounds of the night and the Texas winter night sky. We recommend that you bring a flashlight, bundle up for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring water for the hike. Meet at the Lone Star Amphitheater. Hikes are free with paid park entrance fee or a State Park Pass.
