Get ready to have some fun with “Fluffy” in 2019. Gabriel Iglesias has finalized plans for his 2019 tour, appropriately called Beyond The Fluffy World Tour, and comedy fans can get tickets to select live shows through AXS.
Iglesias’ most recent stand-up special, “I’m Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry,” was released on Netflix in 2016. Since then, he’s been busy both on television and on the road, serving up jokes that are as self-deprecating as they are hilarious. For more than 20 years, he’s been able to make fun of himself as much as anyone else. He’s got material about Mexican-American culture, family and food; check out a sample by playing the video above to hear his creative thoughts on taco trucks.
That might sound like an odd choice of topic, but that’s what makes Iglesias such a memorable comedian. He’s not trying to be anyone but himself, and his material puts him in the spotlight, rather than taking shots at other people. He shows that comedy truly is universal and that you can find a laugh pretty much anywhere. And as one of the more active touring comedians, he has so much experience playing to a live audience that his tours are even better than TV.
