How We Pivot During Social Distancing

Technology has enabled us to pivot during this time of social distancing. For now this is our new normal and our team has learned to adjust. Stacey Loren, Buyer’s Agent for the Dallas Native Team, took  it as a challenge to provide the highest customer care to her clients. This is the Bohnsack’s story.

How We Pivot During Social Distancing

Stacey Loren, spoke with the Bohnsack’s about moving to Dallas. They were moving from New York to be near family in Dallas. After the initial conversation, we made plans to do a buyer consult. The buyer consultation is a key part of us finding out more about the needs of our client and set expectations from the very beginning.
Once the buyer consultation is complete, we have the buyer get pre-approval from one of our lenders. We are fortunate to have great relationships with several lenders. This allows the buyers to find a lender they work best with.
The Bohnsack’s spent considerable time previewing homes, viewing videos of home through Facetime, scouting and phone calls to line up the best options for upcoming house hunting trip. They flew in from New York prepared and ready to find a home.
Knowing your clients wants and needs before looking at houses is crucial. Even more so when they have limited time to find a home, write up a contract, negotiate and execute before they fly back.
On the last day of home buying trip, the perfect home came on the market and we went back out that evening to view it. Same neighborhood as their family so the granddkids can bike back-and-forth! The Bohnsack’s fell in love with East Dallas and were able to find their perfect home before flying back to New York.
Once the Bohnsack’s were back in New York, we still had many task to complete before the closing day. We handled inspections, repair negotiations, leaseback, managing the file between the mortgage and title company; even a FaceTime final walk-through!
The day came to close their perfect home that is close to their children and grandchildren but it was not a traditional closing at the title company. We had made arrangements for the Bohnsack’s to close remotely in New York. We made arrangements between all parties to ensure a smooth close for them.
Even after closing the Bohnsack’s needed help since they were still in New York. Stacey met with the alarm company, the locksmith and landscaper to ensure their house was secure and well kept until they arrived.
Our love for real estate goes beyond the transaction but it extends to creating last relationships with our clients…now friends.
