Dallas Blooms 2025: A Colorful Celebration of Spring

Each spring, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden transforms into a floral wonderland during Dallas Blooms, the largest flower festival in the Southwest. Running from February 22 through April 13, 2025, this year’s theme is “Outside the Ordinary”, and the garden truly lives up to it.

A Garden in Full Bloom

Over 500,000 blooming bulbs fill the garden beds with vibrant color, including more than 350,000 tulips of every shade imaginable. Daffodils, hyacinths, and cherry blossoms add their own hues and fragrances to the mix. As spring progresses, azaleas and other flowering shrubs join the display, keeping the scenery fresh and evolving.

Sculptures That Spark Curiosity

Scattered among the blooms are life-size bronze sculptures by Seward Johnson, known for his hyper-realistic art. These whimsical pieces look like real people frozen in time, inviting visitors to interact, pose, and reflect. They bring an unexpected and playful twist to the natural surroundings.
