Cowtown Contributes began after seeing the devastation in South Texas to due to Hurricane Harvey.  Amanda is a University of Houston alum and had numerous friends and family directly impacted by the Hurricane and subsequent flooding in the Houston area.  Angela and Amanda decided to harness the #powerofmany and call on the amazing customers of Cowtown Couture! To say that they delivered in a big way would be an understatement! In three days, $3000 was raised for the JJ Watt Hurricane Relief Fund through the sale of earrings.

Seeing the impact that the Cowtown Couture community could have, they decided to form Cowtown Contributes and offer a jewelry or accessory each month for sale.  THE ENTIRE PURCHASE price is then donated to the featured charity! Since conception, $2000 has been donated to The Gladney Center for Adoption, $2000 to Punching out Parkinson’s, $1600 to Gathering Hope, and $500 to The Net, an organization which aids victims of Human Trafficking.

“We are so proud of not only what Cowtown Couture has become, but of the impact that our little group has been able to have on our communities.  Not only are we raising money for worthwhile charitable organizations, we are providing them a platform with which to share their mission.  We cannot wait to see where this program goes!”  ~Amanda Wear and Angela Williams
