8 fun places to cool off around DFW

With temperatures reaching 100 degrees at the official start of summer last week, we know the Texas heat is a little tough to bear. And if you don’t have access to a pool or lake, it may be even worse.

With temperatures reaching 100 degrees at the official start of summer last week, we know the Texas heat is a little tough to bear. And if you don’t have access to a pool or lake, it may be even worse.

Here are eight public places to get your splash on this summer:

FRATERNAL ORDER OF THE EAGLES (DALLAS)

Looking for a fun and funky place to lay out? The Fraternal Order of the Eagles pool is just the spot! Tickets are $10 on weekends and $7 during the week.

THE TEXAS POOL (PLANO)

This popular pool is (as you can see) in the shape of Texas! Get in the Lone Star mood and head to Plano for this awesome cool off spot. You must be a member to get in, so check out the information in our link above.

SIX FLAGS’ HURRICANE HARBOR (ARLINGTON)

Looking to go big all day? Six Flags’ Hurricane Harbor is still going strong! A day pass is $34 and season passes are $102.

ALTITUDE H20 (LAKE GRAPEVINE)

Trampolines meet the lake in this awesome new water park that just opened! Tickets are $20 for 45 minutes of fun.

NRH20 (NRH20)

NRH20 (NORTH RICHLAND HILLS)

This long-standing community water park (with such a clever name!) is always a good time. Tickets online are $25 for adults and $21 for kids.

Hawaiian Falls (Hawaiian Falls website)

HAWAIIAN FALLS (THE COLONY, GARLAND, MANSFIELD, ROANOKE)

No matter where you live, there seems to be a Hawaiian Falls park near you! Tickets range from $22 to $29 and season passes are available.
