Candlelight at Dallas Heritage Village

Save the date for a one of the most special holiday celebrations in North Texas! Travel back in time with us at our annual Candlelight holiday celebration, where you can sing along with strolling carolers, tell St. Nicholas your holiday wishes, and make holiday crafts. The Village will be decked in festive lights and traditional decor, Willie and Waylon will be available for wagon rides, local groups perform on three stages all evening. Festive foods are available for purchase from food trucks as well as a bake sale, traditional kettle korn, nuts and more.

Activities include:

Historic buildings dressed in traditional holiday decorations
Interpreters in traditional costumes throughout the museum bringing history to life
Strolling carolers throughout the Village and inside historic buildings
Carriage rides pulled by Willie and Waylon, our Mammoth Jack donkeys
Local dancers, choirs and other entertainers
Timeless Toy Trains and St. Nicholas in the historic MKT Depot
Blacksmith demonstrations
Cooking demonstrations at the Gano Farmstead and the Blume House
Bake sale with homemade treats made by The Guild of Dallas Heritage Village
Traditional holiday activities and period games for children
Food provided by area food trucks
Traditional Kettle Korn and nuts
Plenty of magical photo opportunities, including photos with Nip and Tuck!
