Bonnie and Clyde Days Festival

The highlight of this family friendly day is a reenactment of the bank robbery scene filmed in Pilot Point for the 1967 Warren Beatty/Faye Dunaway flick, Bonnie and Clyde. The Pilot Point area, north of Denton, was a known hang-out of the real-life Depression-era outlaw couple and the Barrow Gang. The movie scene was shot at the historic bank building on the town square. Reenactments at noon and 3 p.m.

There’s plenty more old-timey fun during the day including soap box racing, Model A and classic car show, crafts, food vendors, free kids zone and live music during the day. The festival runs 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and is free to attend.
