5 can’t-miss events during North Texas Beer Week

North Texas Beer Week, which runs Nov. 1-10, is a regionwide celebration of local libations. The week is overflowing with events. Here are five not to miss.

Festicle 2019

BrainDead Brewing’s fifth annual Festicle returns to Deep Ellum with a clear mission: to bring big and bold beers to North Texas. That means barrel-aged specialties, sours and the rarest of BrainDead’s inventory, paired with live music from DJ Hammertimez.

Big Tex and Beer Trivia

Every Thursday is trivia night at Celestial Beerworks in Dallas, and during North Texas Beer Week, the brewery is hosting a special Texas-themed competition. Expect questions about the Dallas Cowboys, Texas lagers and other Lone Star staples.

For the Love of Craft Screening and Pink Boots Release

The local chapter of the Pink Boots Society, an organization for female beer professionals, is debuting a dry-hopped pilsner to pair with a screening of For the Love of Craft. The documentary, produced by trade organization Brewers Association, features microbrewing pioneers like Kim Jordan (New Belgium Brewing Co.) and Ken Grossman (Sierra Nevada) and their journeys in the industry.
