Find a spot along the two-mile parade route — traveling south on Greenville Ave. from Blackwell to SMU Blvd. — to enjoy the fourth largest St. Patrick’s parade in the country. Cheer marching bands, dancers and bagpipers, catch beads thrown from passing floats and party with thousands of green-clad revelers. The parade is presented by the Dallas Mavericks and the Greenville Avenue Area Business Association.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be attractions along the route, including Mavs Corner, family zone, food trucks and vendors.

The official block party in Energy Square gets underway at 1:30 p.m., right after the parade ends. No ticket is required but you must be 21 years or older to attend. The Texas Bluesman will be on stage and there sill be food trucks, beer and liquor sales, seating and restrooms.
