Things are changing fast these days. Some restaurants are now open for socially distanced dining, and some are still open only for takeout. We’ve included restaurants that are offering takeout offerings for Mother’s Day, and noted those that have opened their dining rooms at 25% capacity. Asian Mint

The chain offers its Mint Chef at Home kit through May 10. The kit includes edamame, Asian noodle salad, basil chicken and shrimp with jasmine rice, chocolate flourless cake and pineapple mimosas. Serves four people. $75. Four locations in Dallas and Richardson.

Ascension

The spot offers a Mother’s Day brunch kit that serves four to five people for $48. The kit includes bacon and leek frittata with tomato jam, house salad with grape tomatoes and sherry vinaigrette, tiramisu cruffins, and a choice of cold brew coffee or iced tea. Bird Cafe

The cafe offers family-size brunch spreads available for curbside pickup May 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu includes Texas honey-infused yogurt with house-made granola and fresh berries, sweet tea-brined fried chicken with red pepper jelly, cinnamon twist French toast with peach compote and fresh cream, and a pimento cheese omelet with smoked bacon and fried potatoes. Serves four for $55 or six for $75. Mimosa, bloody mary and Irish coffee packages are available for $15-$28. Cook-at-home kits are also available. The restaurant’s dining room is also open. 155 E. Bisous Bisous Pâtisserie

The bakery offers a Champagne and strawberry drip cake for Mother’s Day with pink strawberry buttercream and strawberry jam. Available in four sizes starting at $30. The restaurant also offers its signature Champagne and strawberry “MOM” cake for $50. 3700 McKinney Ave., Dallas. 214-613-3570.

Blue Mesa Grill

The southwest restaurant serves a brunch feast for four that includes rainbow chips and salsa, cinnamon French toast casserole, grilled fajita chicken salad, build-your-own tacos, blue crab and shrimp enchiladas, and cajeta swirl brownies. Mimosa kits are $20. Recommended to order by May 7. Order by calling the restaurant for curbside pickup May 9 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and May 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The restaurant’s dining rooms are also open. Boston Market

The national chain offers family meals available for delivery or curbside pickup. Locations in Arlington, Dallas, Denton, DeSoto, Duncanville, Fort Worth, Garland, Grand Prairie, Irving, Lewisville, Mesquite and Plano.

Bulla Gastrobar

The Spanish-style restaurant offers a to-go weekend brunch that feeds four to six people, served with patatas bravas and mixed green salad. Meals feature various mains including pollo al chilindrón (pan-seared chicken, Serrano ham, red pepper stew and steamed rice); paella mixta (calamari, shrimp, chicken, sofrito de calamar and saffron); and grilled steak. Meals are $40-$50, and are available May 9-10. Mimosas for six to eight people are $20. The restaurant is also 25% off menu items starting May 1. The Capital Grille

A three-course family-style Mother’s Day to-go dinner features whole Roasted beef tenderloin and choice of butter poached north Atlantic lobster tails or scampi-style jumbo shrimp. Entrées are served alongside green beans, mashed potatoes, flourless chocolate espresso cake and lemon tea cookies. Dinner starts at $195 and serves four to six. Available while quantities last. In addition, the restaurant is offering a selection of uncooked steaks, hand-carved by its in-house butcher to be prepared at home. Guests can pair with a bottle of wine or the restaurant’s iconic Stoli Doli martini, in select locations. The restaurant’s dining rooms are also open. Multiple locations.
