Through June 30, the gardens are home to 12 topiaries — wire frames in the shapes of animals and insects that have plants growing out of them to show color and texture. Among the dozen sculptures are a butterfly, a trio of elephants, a gazelle and a giraffe. Viewing the “Topiaries in the Garden” exhibit is free with admission to the botanic garden, which has more than 100 acres of grounds, including French Renaissance-inspired vistas, the Rose Garden with its reflection pond, and the Japanese Garden with its pagoda and koi.
$12, $10 for seniors 65 and up, $6 for ages 6-15, free for ages 5 and under. Parking is free.
