BISHOP ARTS DISTRICT

The hip Bishop Arts District Dallas is known for its diverse nightlife, chic independent fashion stores and colorful street art. Dining choices range from Texas-style BBQ to Vietnamese pho, while relaxed bars pour everything from cocktails to house-brewed cider. Cult movies are the draw at the Texas Theatre, while the art deco Kessler Theater presents live music by local and national bands.

DOWNTOWN DALLAS

Downtown Dallas is the Central Business District in Dallas, Texas USA, located in the geographic center of the city. The area termed “Downtown” has traditionally been defined as bounded by the downtown freeway loop: bounded on the east by I-345. Dallas, Texas, Dallas County, DFW, Big D. The city is known by many names. The actual city or Dallas County covers 385 square miles.

FRISCO

Frisco is a city in Collin and Denton counties in Texas. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and is approximately 25 miles from both Dallas Love Field and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Frisco has been and continues to be one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. Most of Frisco is a part of the Frisco Independent School District. Frisco is also home of the Superdrome, one of the top outdoor velodromes in the nation.

GRAPEVINE

Grapevine is a city in Texas. It’s known for its restored 19th- and 20th-century buildings. Many of these are on downtown’s Main Street, which is lined with restaurants, galleries and shops. The Cotton Belt Railroad District is home to artisans’ workshops, including a glass-blowing studio, a blacksmith and a bronze foundry. The 1888 Cotton Belt Railroad Depot is the starting point of the Grapevine Vintage Railroad.

KNOX HENDERSON

Knox / Henderson is a neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. It is north of the Uptown neighborhood and east and south of the enclave of Highland Park. It is centered on Knox Street, Henderson Avenue, McKinney Avenue, and Cole Avenue.

MCKINNEY

The city of Mckinney is in the county seat of Collin County, Texas, and the second in population to Plano. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and is located about 37 miles north of Dallas. The jewel of McKinney is The Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary. McKinney has a highly recognized school district McKinney is served primarily by the McKinney Independent School District, but some western areas of McKinney are zoned to nearby Frisco Independent School District and southern areas to Allen Independent School District.

OAK LAWN

The area is peppered with upscale townhouses, condos, apartments, and duplexes. Along the Uptown portion on McKinney Avenue and along Turtle Creek Boulevard, there are many new high-rise condominiums and apartments. It is also a very diverse neighborhood with well established areas of older, single family homes.

PLANO

There are so many great things about Plano that it’s hard to know where to start. Plano is a mature community of pristine neighborhoods and clean streets. Abundant shopping, restaurants, and entertainment keeps the city lively, and the city’s parks and recreation facilities help ensure there is always something to do. Northeast of town is Southfork Ranch, made famous as the setting for the TV series “Dallas.”

ROCKWALL

Rockwall is located due east from downtown Dallas of Highway 30. Surrounded by Lake Ray Hubbard, this city is known for its relaxed lifestyle and outdoor living. This combined with its award winning schools makes it a great place to live. Ample shopping can be found in and around Rockwall including the new Harbor shopping center. Live music can be heard here every Thursday night starting in the Spring. Housing varies from large planned subdivisions to unique homes dotting the lake. There is a Farmers Market every weekend in the town square.

UPTOWN

Uptown is known for its eclectic bar and restaurant scene, including lively sports bars, posh global bistros and hip cocktail lounges. The action centers on McKinney Avenue, where a free vintage trolley trundles past boutiques selling high-end fashion and chic western wear. Attracting joggers and cyclists, the Katy Trail skirts Turtle Creek, passing parks, beer gardens and the cool Museum of Geometric and MADI Art.Housing ranges from high rise condos with breathtaking views of the city. The close proximity to the Downtown Business District, Baylor Hospital and Southwest Medical Center adds to the appeal.
