Rooftop Cinema Club, which hosted the Drive-In at the Central movie series, has a new experience for movie fans. A big screen and seating will be set up on a grassy lot owned by Dallas Heritage Village that’s away from the grounds with the historical buildings. There will be deckchairs and beanbags that seat one person, love seats for two and general lawn admission for ticket holders who take their own picnic blankets and lawn chairs. Ticket prices include the use of headphones for listening to the movies. There will be food trucks and a bar for purchasing concessions and lawn games to play before showtime.
Starting May 27 at Dallas Heritage Village at Old City Park, 1515 S. Harwood St., Dallas. Check the website for dates, times and movies. $14.50-$22.75, $10-$15 for ages 12 and younger. rooftopcinemaclub.com/dallas.
