Grapevine is getting into the Halloween spirit. The city’s parks and recreation department is hosting PumpkinFest for the first time, on Fridays through Sundays, beginning Oct. 15. The event, held from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays-Sundays through Oct. 31, is at Meadowmere Park and will feature a pumpkin patch, the singing pumpkin Booman Group, a hiking trail, maze, concessions and photo ops. The cost is $20 per car, $40 per bus.
