Fans will have the chance to visit set recreations and relive their favorite moments from the television series.
An interactive event coming to Plano will let fans step inside their favorite moments from Friends, the popular television series, organizers said in an announcement.
Friends followed the lives of a close-knit group of friends living in New York City. The television characters include Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) and Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston).
The Friends Experience features 12 rooms of set recreations, including Joey and Chandler’s apartment, Monica and Rachel’s kitchen and Central Perk, the announcement said. Fans will also have the chance to look behind Rachel and Monica’s purple door, relax in Chandler and Joey’s recliner and help Ross with the sofa pivot scene.
The event also includes a Central Perk coffee cart and a Friends retail store that will be accessible without a ticket, according to the announcement.
The event takes place Nov. 4-Jan. 17 at 6121 W. Park Blvd. at The Shops at Willow Bend. Ticket prices start at $32.50, plus taxes and fees.
Tickets are on sale online now through Jan. 17. Guests can reserve a timed entry online, and a limited number of standby tickets will be available at the event. Tickets for private groups start at $384, plus taxes and fees.
COVID-19 protocols will be in place, including social distancing, masks, temperature checks and thorough cleaning and sanitization measures. More information about the show and safety protocols can be found online.
Friends was one of the highest-rated TV shows during its original network run and is currently a favorite on syndication and on streaming services, the announcement said. During its 10-season run, Friends won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy series. Emmy Awards were also given to Aniston and Kudrow.
