Grapevine’s ‘Carol of Lights’ kick-off set for Nov. 22 with fireworks, live music and reindeer

The Christmas Capital of Texas kicks off the holiday season with a special event officiated by Mayor William D. Tate.

Grapevine, known as the Christmas Capital of Texas, is flipping the switch on its annual holiday lights show.

Mayor William D. Tate will be on hand to kick off the season when the 33rd Annual Carol of Lights Christmas kick-off event happens on Monday, Nov. 22 at City Hall.

The event will include seasonal craft-making activities, live music performances and photos with reindeer, all beginning at 4 p.m. The lighting spectacle will culminate in fireworks at 7 p.m.

Seating and standing-room tickets are free; $5 reserved seats go on sale Monday, Oct. 25 for Grapevine residents, and Monday, Nov. 1 for non-residents.
