It doesn’t get juicier or more tender than this. So if you’re looking for an atmosphere that pairs well with a darn good burger, then look no further than Henry’s Majestic.

An introduction is barely needed for Dallas’ highly touted steakhouse, Knife. Simply Google search ‘Knife Dallas’ and watch the accolades roll in from some of the most prolific culinary masters in the game. Award winning chef John Tesar takes something as simple as a patty and two pieces of bread and turns it into something you’ll talk about for the rest of your life. While it might seem odd to order a burger from a high end steakhouse, in this case, it’s absolutely necessary. For a classic that’s much more than that, try The Ozersky. Named for acclaimed food writer Josh Ozersky, it’s an American cheeseburger made from 44 Farms Texas-raised beef and is dressed in its purest form: two slices of American cheese, red onion and house pickles on the side. In other words, no frills, but definitely all the flavor.

If you’re not too cool for counter service, then drop whatever you’re doing and get to Maple & Motor. The self-proclaimed ‘low-class cool’ atmosphere is about as straightforward as it gets, as is its claim to one of the best burgers in Dallas. Don’t let the uber casual vibe fool you; they are serious about their burgers. You’ll find Maple & Motor all over the ‘best of’ lists for some of the top tasting beef in town and they’re not wrong. Even Food Network personality, Guy Fieri, made it a stop on his show, Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. The half-pound 70/30 chuck to brisket patty is just about as juicy as it gets, and the fattiness of the brisket makes each bite melt in your mouth. So, grab some friends or stand in line and make some new ones, at one of the best burger joints in the Big D. Order up!
RODEO GOAT

Debuting in Fort Worth, the citizens of Dallas rejoiced when Rodeo Goat brought its mile long list of inventive burgers to the Big D. Located along the beloved bike route at Trinity Strand Trail, Rodeo Goat is serving up perfect patties, and with so many burger styles to choose from it’s the ideal spot for a large group of particular palettes. While it’s hard to pick a favorite, the challenge is one to which any self-respecting burger lover would aspire. Maybe you’re into the Chaca Oaxaca, made with a chorizo/chuck blend or The Mike Rawlings with sharp Irish cheddar, blackberry compote and whole grain mustard is more your thing. There’s literally something for everyone and rest assured, you can never go wrong.
KATY TRAIL ICE HOUSE

Nestled in the heart of Uptown, this community beer garden-style restaurant boasts one of the best patios in the city. Located along the Katy Trail, a popular destination for runners, dog walkers, cyclists and the occasional rollerblader, Katy Trail Ice House is an oasis for those looking for a lively atmosphere, an ice cold beer and a delicious burger and fries. The beer garden alone is something you’ll want to write home about, but try the Terlingua burger, a mouthwatering half-pound cheeseburger topped with venison chili, and you’ll also need to include a P.S. explaining that you’re moving to Dallas and never leaving this burger again.
