Description
Dino Safari, presented by Reliant, lets you journey back in time to explore a recently discovered herd of dinosaurs in this educational adventure that’s fun for all ages. You’ll become part of the zoo’s field team as you hop on board a shuttle for a tour of the research camp, observe dinos in their habitats, and help search for what is rumored to be a newly-hatched Amargasaurus!
You’ll see more than 30 life-size animatronic dinosaurs, have photo opportunities to capture DINO-mite memories, and get surprise close-up encounter with a dinosaur along the route.

You’ll experience the all-new Dino Safari exhibit on a guided shuttle tour where guests ride on a tram. Each tram holds eight to 10 people, and guests must stay on the tram throughout the exhibit tour. The zoo has a tram that’s an ADA-compatible vehicle and can accommodate one wheelchair per ride. Strollers will need to be stored at the entrance to the exhibit.
Tickets
Go online to purchase timed tickets for your zoo visit, and then add on your Dino Safari experience. Valid general admission is required for the same date.
General admission varies, depending on the day. Take advantage of $8 on the first Tuesday of each month. Admission flexes between $15–$21 every other day. Always free for children 2 and younger and for Dallas zoo members.
Dino Safari tickets: $6 for nonmembers; free for children 2 and younger; $4 for zoo members; free for Patrol-level members and up. A limited number of tickets may be available for purchase at the entrance to the exhibit, so register online in advance when you reserve your general admission to the zoo.
