On Thursdays through Aug. 11, the Rockin’ the River series features Texas country musicians. Three musical acts will perform back to back from 5 to 9:25 p.m. Headliners are the Texas Gentlemen (July 14), John Baumann (July 21), Triston Marez (July 28), Kyle Park (Aug. 4) and Dirty River Boys (Aug. 11). BYO tube or raft or rent a tube for $6 to float near the waterfront stage. Or just splash around near the shore, relax on the sand, listen to music and buy snacks from food trucks or beer, soda and bottles of water. Free admission; $10 for parking. Tube rentals are $6.
