DALLAS ARTS MONTH
Dallas is home to the nation’s largest urban arts district, and our devotion to the arts runs deep. In celebration of our vast cultural landscape, the city has proclaimed April as Dallas Arts Month. There are hundreds of events, including exhibitions, festivals and performances to enjoy during Arts Month showcasing the diversity of cultural offerings across the city.

Dallas Arts Month was first launched in 2013 and is designed to build awareness and appreciation for the work of Dallas artists and organizations and foster creative learning and activity throughout the city.

Getting There: Dallas Arts Month events are hosted at various locations. The Dallas Arts District is located in the Northeast corner of Downtown.
THINGS TO DO & SEE
- Dallas Art Fair is held at the Fashion Industry Gallery during Arts Month each year and offers a rich selection of modern and contemporary works. 2023 dates: April 20-23
- Be sure to catch the Dallas Arts District Block Party, a free event that showcases the institutions that call the Arts District home. The Dallas Arts District is the beating heart of the city’s cultural landmarks, from the Dallas Museum of Art to the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
- The Deep Ellum Arts and Music Festival is a free, three-day festival showcasing hundreds of visual artists’ original works as well as performances by local bands. This year, the festival will be held from April 7-9, 2023.
