Dallas’ Original Watermelon Day is BACK and better than ever for our 5th Anniversary event at the Dallas Farmers Market! Beating the summer heat is a breeze with the sweetest celebration of the season and truck loads of fresh TEXAS GROWN watermelon. Farmers of our GO TEXAN Certified Farmers Market proudly bring over 15 varieties of watermelons straight to the heart of Dallas to celebrate the summer harvest. Yellow, orange, red, seeded, and seedless are just the beginning of the juicy melons you can get a slice of at Dallas’ Original Watermelon Day.

All those sweet slices get us ready to round up a whole herd of family-friendly activities to keep the fun going til the time rinds out. Don’t miss free watermelon by the slice from Café Momentum, watermelon carving, watermelon eating contest, cooking demonstrations, live music, face painting, foam party + kids DJ, kids crafts + the artisan M.A.D.E.
