Catch Up & Read, a Dallas-based nonprofit whose mission is to equip children from underserved communities to read on grade level by the end of third grade, will be Galleria Dallas’ Gallery Wall partner for the month of July.

The nonprofit’s exhibit, “Growing Confident Readers and Teachers Across North Texas,” will be displayed on Galleria Dallas’ Gallery Wall on Level 1 next to Apple from July 1-29.

Along with the Gallery Wall, Catch Up & Read will offer Read Alouds with special speakers Tuesday mornings at 10:30 throughout July. Galleria Dallas will also offer readings on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. throughout July. Read aloud on Wednesdays will feature the following children’s authors:

-July 3: Jenn Hill, Looking for Magic

-July 10: Rachel Más Davidson, I Love You Mucho Mucho, and Brad Davidson, Pocket Full of Sads

-July 17: Nancy Churnin – The William Hoy Story

-July 24: Ha Dinh, Where Wildflowers Grow

-July 31: Orion Jean, Race to Kindness
