Visit DFW: June 26–29, 2026

World Cup excitement has officially taken over North Texas! Whether you’re cheering on your favorite country, exploring the Arts District, catching Broadway, or spending the weekend at one of Dallas’ biggest outdoor festivals, there’s no shortage of ways to experience DFW this weekend. Here’s your Dallas Native guide to the best events happening June 26–29.

Dallas Highlights

This weekend is all about soccer, arts, and summer fun.

FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas – Fair Park (June 26–29)

If you’re only picking one event this weekend, make it the FIFA Fan Festival at Fair Park. Open daily throughout the World Cup, this free festival features giant match broadcasts, live entertainment, interactive games, international food, cultural performances, family activities, and concerts. Even if you don’t have tickets to a World Cup match, this is one of the biggest celebrations happening anywhere in North Texas.

Flora Street Live – Dallas Arts District (Friday, June 26)

The Dallas Arts District comes alive Friday evening with Flora Street Live, a celebration of music, dance, visual art, food trucks, pop-up performances, and family-friendly activities throughout the AT&T Performing Arts Center campus. Many events are free, making this one of the best ways to experience downtown Dallas this summer.

Wicked – Music Hall at Fair Park (Weekend Performances)

Broadway’s smash hit Wicked continues its Dallas run with multiple performances throughout the weekend. Whether it’s your first time or your fifth, this is one of the hottest theater tickets in the city. Arrive early to enjoy Fair Park before the show.

Saturday Festival Circuit

Spend Saturday exploring some of Dallas’ most popular summer destinations.

FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas (Saturday, June 27)

Saturday’s Fan Festival promises one of the liveliest crowds of the weekend with World Cup matches, live music, international food vendors, soccer experiences, and entertainment throughout Fair Park. Wear your team’s colors and expect a true international atmosphere.

Fair Park & Summer Exhibits

While you’re already at Fair Park, explore the grounds, public art, museums, and seasonal exhibits before heading over to the Fan Festival. The area has become one of Dallas’ busiest destinations during the World Cup.

Deep Ellum & Downtown Dallas

After the festival, keep the evening going in Deep Ellum with live music, rooftop cocktails, breweries, and some of the city’s best restaurants. Summer nights downtown have plenty of energy, especially with international visitors in town for the World Cup.

Sunday Fun

FIFA Fan Festival™ Dallas (Sunday, June 28)

Sunday marks the beginning of the FIFA World Cup Round of 32, making the Fan Festival one of the best places in Dallas to catch all the action on giant screens alongside thousands of fellow fans. Expect an electric atmosphere all afternoon.

Dallas Farmers Market

Start your Sunday with brunch before browsing local vendors, artisan shops, fresh produce, and specialty foods at the Dallas Farmers Market. It’s an easy way to enjoy a slower pace before diving back into World Cup festivities.

White Rock Lake

If you’re looking to escape the crowds, White Rock Lake offers one of the best places in Dallas for a morning walk, bike ride, paddleboarding, or simply relaxing by the water before the summer heat sets in.

Monday Around Town

FIFA Fan Festival™ Continues (Monday, June 29)

The excitement doesn’t slow down after the weekend. Monday brings another full day of World Cup matches, entertainment, food, and activities at Fair Park as Dallas continues hosting visitors from around the globe.

Explore Dallas Neighborhoods

If you’ve got visitors in town, Monday is a great day to introduce them to Bishop Arts, Knox-Henderson, Lower Greenville, Trinity Groves, or Legacy West before the next round of tournament action begins.

How to Use This Weekend Guide

Make the FIFA Fan Festival your main event, then pair it with an evening at Flora Street Live or a performance of Wicked. Leave room to explore a Dallas neighborhood, grab brunch at the Farmers Market, or spend a relaxing morning at White Rock Lake before jumping back into the excitement.

Dallas is on the world stage this summer, and this weekend is the perfect opportunity to experience the energy for yourself.
