Whether you’re planning a date night, getting the family out of the house, or looking for something different to do with friends, here’s your Dallas Native guide to August 14–17.
Friday Night in Dallas

Broadway Dallas is handing over the microphone! Broadway Karaoke invites theater fans to take the stage and sing their favorite show tunes at the Music Hall at Fair Park. The event runs from 7–10 p.m., with light bites and drinks included with admission.

If you’d rather eat your way through the city, Friday offers several ways to do it. Choose from the Little Mexico & Arts District Foodie Hop, Taste of Bishop Arts District, Uptown Eats! Trolley & Walking Tour, or the Discover Downtown Cocktail Crawl.
Saturday Adventures
BTS World Tour ‘ARIRANG’ – AT&T Stadium (Saturday & Sunday, August 15–16)

BIG3 Basketball – American Airlines Center (Saturday, August 15)
Basketball fans can head to American Airlines Center Saturday morning as BIG3 brings its fast-paced 3-on-3 basketball action to Dallas. It’s a completely different way to start your Saturday before heading out for an evening concert or dinner.
Downtown Goat Yoga – Harwood Park (Saturday, August 15)
Yoga is a little more entertaining when goats are involved. Downtown Goat Yoga takes over Harwood Park Saturday from 10–11 a.m. for an outdoor yoga class complete with plenty of four-legged interruptions and photo opportunities.
Community Run Club – Community Beer Co. (Saturday, August 15)
Start Saturday with a social 5K run or walk at Community Beer Co. The event runs from 8–10 a.m. and is designed for all paces, making it as much about meeting people and having fun as it is about getting your miles in.
Train, Matt Nathanson & Barenaked Ladies – Dos Equis Pavilion (Saturday, August 15)

Disco Cowgirl Rodeo Bar Market – Legacy Hall (Sunday, August 16)

Amalfi Coast Brunch – Monarch (Sunday, August 16)
Want something a little more elevated? Monarch is bringing an Amalfi Coast-inspired brunch to downtown Dallas Sunday from 10 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Expect a summer-inspired menu, spritzes and skyline views.
Dallas Farmers Market
Keep Sunday casual with a trip to the Dallas Farmers Market. Browse local growers and makers at The Shed, grab brunch or lunch, and shop your way through the market before the afternoon heat rolls in.
Monday Fun
Make It a Dallas Museum Day (Monday, August 17)
After a packed weekend, Monday is a great time to move things indoors. Spend the afternoon exploring the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, Dallas Museum of Art, or another favorite Dallas museum.
Reunion Tower
Wrap up the long weekend with one of the best views of Dallas. Head up to Reunion Tower’s GeO-Deck for panoramic skyline views and try to time your visit around sunset for an especially good end to the weekend.
How to Use This Weekend Guide
Friday is made for live music or a foodie adventure, while Saturday has everything from goat yoga and basketball to some of the weekend’s biggest concerts.
Sunday can go one of two ways: join the excitement surrounding BTS in Arlington or slow things down with brunch, shopping and the Dallas Farmers Market. Then use Monday to beat the heat with a museum day or skyline views from Reunion Tower.
However you spend it, there’s plenty happening around DFW August 14–17.
