The SPCA of Texas (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas) is the leading animal welfare agency in North Texas with two shelters and three spay/neuter clinics located in Dallas and McKinney, and serves as an active resource center providing an array of programs and services that bring people and animals together to enrich each others’ lives.
A comprehensive animal welfare agency, the SPCA of Texas is not affiliated with any other entity and does not receive general operating funds from the City of Dallas, State of Texas, federal government, or any other humane organization.
HELPING ANIMALS OF TEXAS
Every time you support the SPCA of Texas—whether by coming out to the wonderful events, through a donation, by volunteering your time or by simply spreading the word about the great work we do— you support the dogs and cats (and rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, goats and more) and people they serve. They’re the voice for the animals who cannot speak for themselves.

As an independent 501 (c)(3) organization, they are not a branch or chapter of the ASPCA or any other group. They are funded by our generous donors, and 100% of your gifts stay right here in our community.

The No More Homeless Pets Dallas coalition is dedicated to collecting and publishing community data concerning dog and cat populations cared for by Dallas’s animal shelters and animal rescue groups on behalf of lost, stray or homeless dogs and cats.
