Eden Hill Vineyard and Winery has just opened a brick-and-mortar tasting room at the Dallas Farmers Market, the better to bring its Texas wines directly to consumers.

“It’s really all about being part of the Dallas Farmers Market day and night,” says winemaker Chris Hornbaker.

The Celina winery already has a presence at the market with its booth in The Shed. But the Hornbaker family who owns the Celina winery also wanted a place where people could drop in and taste wines in a more relaxed setting – particularly in the evenings.

Eden Hill Winery at the Lofts, at the corner of Taylor and Harwood streets, is an airy extension of Charming at The Market, with a roll-up glass door opening onto a sidewalk patio.

“This is an indoor location,” Hornbaker says, “that’s open when the farmers market is open.” That includes Friday night, Saturday afternoon and evening, and Sunday afternoon. You can stroll anywhere on the farmers market grounds with your wine in hand.
