The 101st Veterans Day observance in Fort Worth is now being dubbed “drive-by patriotism.” Instead of bands and marching units, a Memorial Motorcade will step off from Panther Island at 11 a.m. then roll through downtown Fort Worth. Dennis Nixon, former National Commander of the Disabled American Veterans organization will serve as grand marshal.
