The 47th annual Swiss Avenue Historic District Mother’s Day Home Tour is a weekend-long tribute to Dallas’ historic past taking place on Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, and Sunday, May 7th and 8th. This year, the tour will feature six of the city’s most fabulous Early 20th Century homes and one exquisite garden. There will be an open-air art fair, a vintage auto display, a children’s play area, live entertainment in Savage Park, free horse-drawn carriage rides, complimentary air-conditioned mini-coaches, and food trucks offering a variety of freshly prepared menu items, ice-cold beverages, and much more. Tickets can be purchased online at SAHD.org or, beginning April 1st, at Talulah & HESS at Live Oak & Skillman or at Texas Good Company at Hillside Village Shopping Center at Mockingbird & Abrams. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the tour, kids 12 and under are free.
